I generally shave after 3-4 days, like maintaining rough looks, but when I want to shave my beard after 4 days, it's very difficult to do with normal twin razor & most of the time the shave done is irregular. Please suggest any convenient ways for best results, which can be done at home.

The modern multiblade razors seem to clog up easily on a heavy beard growth because they're designed to be used everyday. In addition, the blades are recessed to reduce the risk of cutting the skin while shaving. One option is to return to the 1950s removable razor blade design that can adjust blade exposure for cutting heavy beards. However, then you have to be more careful of skin cuts.

If the hair is very long, use scissors to trim it shorter, then use an electric razor. If you don't want to use an electric razor, I'd suggest using something other than just a twin blade razor--they are fine for fine short hair, but not the best on longer or thicker hair.

Buy yourself a beard trimmer and shave the length off with that then have a wet shave. They're pretty cheap, around US$30.
