about islam and his relation with christians round the world

Because muslims consider followers of all other religions to be "infidels" or non-believers (kefir). And they still haven't forgiven Christians for the Crusades which took place 1000 years ago. Of course, they seem to forget that the forcible conversion of people to Islam lead to the Crusades.

I'm a muslim and I certainly don't hate the Christian religion. In fact, I've always been taught to respect christians and honour Jesus. Check the Koran; there's a whole part dedicated to the Virgin Mary and her miraculous birth. Besides all this, I as an individual and muslim, believe that liking people shouldn't be about religion, race or colour. Maybe some muslims, or other people of any religion for that matter, are like that, but that doesn't mean we all share the same attidude. Please don't stereotype people this way.

You are stereo-typing. There are a small minority (less than 1%) of Muslims who misconstrue the teachings of the Koranto imply the the prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) wants everyone who isn't Islamic to be killed etc. What He said is that you try and convert first, and kill if they start attacking you/ other Muslims. Terrorist organisations like Al-Quieda (The Cave; most likely a reference to where Mohammed (Peace be upon him) hid when being persecuted) quote the Koran out of context to try and prove themsleves right. However religion is actually just an excuse for them to persue their private wars against the "infidels" which they fight for slightly more personl reasons (money/glory/power etc)
Of course, by attacking people, the terrorists create a feeling of fear and hatred of Islamic faith and culture, which in tunr breeds more terrorists.

Islam is a religion that is centered on hate and violence. The only time it is a "peaceful" religion is when everything is just exactly the way the muslims want it, and then generally they fight among themselves. They have for years. The core of Islam is kill or enslave anyone who is not muslim.
Look at the name of one of the muslims who answered you, "death on a stick? How peaceful is that?

All religious followers believe in their religion being the only valid religion in the world.
This might seem the case in the UK because christianity is the biggest religion here.
A muslim will not embrace Christianity, just as a Christian will not embrace Islam.
I am neither.

Muslims were taught to respect all prophets , and of course other religions...there is this verse in Koran that says; All Muslims should believe in Allah, His angels, His books and His Prophets; We make no difference between any of his prophets.... So, basically we hate no-one...
Please don't stereotype all Muslims by those who believe that they r Muslims and do things opposing to what Islam and Koran taught us.

i was hoping someone could tell me the answer to that question. we both believe in god. that's a common ground for trusting each other i should think. muslims seem very limited in their scope of tolerance. they hate other muslims if they are of a different sect. dosn't make sense to me, when god says we are to love one another. i think if everyone followed this, his greatest commandment, we could all live side by side, and give each other a hand when needed. i guess they feel superior in their personal belief. i'm wondering though if all muslims hate the christian religeon, or if it isn't terrorists who use religeon as a tool to keep the people of the earth divided, so that they can rule in their region.

all the Muslims don't hate Christians only some of them who took the path terrorism hate not Christians but the USA only. they never declared jihad on Christianity. for your information Islamic terrorists daily killing innocent Indians in Kashmir. even china is also attacked by them.

Hate is a strong word - most DON'T hate, but disagree. It's the militant muslims or militants of any religion that give their entire group a bad name
