it may be easier said than done, but you just gotta tell him that you aren't ready for a relationship. he might think that you are blowing him off and that is just some excuse, but as long you know the truth in your heart and if he really likes you, he can wait till you're ready.

Just tell him that your not ready for that kind of comittment right at this time. Sure his heart may get a little brused but if he is as good of man as you think he is.
He will deal with it and move on, some time you can't help but break a few eggs in the game of love, he will mend and get over it so don't worry none.
Just be tureful and as gentle as you can but don't give in when he starts to cry be strong and tell he what you need to tell him.
Good luck dear stay safe and stay strong.

There is no right or wrong way,if your relationship is a serious one and he is the right one for you or even a true friend then he will have no problem when you say no,if he does have a problem with you saying no,then dont waste anymore of your time on a guy like this, there are many good ones out there, dont sell yourself short and settle for the bad ones

Tell him why you are not ready to be with someone at the moment and you will call him when you are ready. If he really is a nice guy he will understand.

Listen if he is as nice as you say you can just tell him exactly what you said here...Do not lower your standards just because he seems nice. Most of all do not get yourself into a situation where its is going to be too late to paddle back out of. This is the true test of just how nice he really is. If he doesn't understand your reasons that you'll know that he was just out for his own selfish reasons. Stand your ground even if it means loosing his friendship because you have to be absolutly sure if he is the one you want to give yourself to. Good luck to you!

Tell him that he is great and a person whom any girl would ever want to date...but unfortunately you are not yet ready to have someone at the moment...it is as if saying to him that he came at a wrong time....

just simply say that you aren't ready yet for a relationship but you think he's a great guy and you still want to stay good friends. If he truly does care about you he will completely understand.

Just like you've told us.

Avoid games.

Honestly is always the best policy.

However be prepared... for the same question that we are asking ourselves...

If he's such a great guy, and he wants to BE with you... WHY would you delay this phase of your life?

You tell him that he is a nice person who respect others feelings. You have all the regards for him but at this moment you have to concentrate on other issues.
