Christians adopt a blind faith and they are proud of having BLIND faith otherwise it will not be faith according to them. Muslims invite for an evidence-based knowledge and faith, what is your preference? Why you think God provided us with superior brains and made us accountable according to it? Apart from seeing God by your own eyes how can we convince you that Islam the evidence-based religion is the only true religion today?

R B: The evidence should be valid. That means you see it in front of your eyes or at least its source is reliable and neither in your case are met. See how the transmission of the Quran over the years differ from that of the Bible and for this reason there is only one version of the Quran and many versions of the Bible and no one knows for sure which is the correct one.

little star: if you love Jesus you have to love him the way he likes not the way you like. Muslims love Jesus PBUH but don't make him a son or a partner of God, Jesus didn't say worship me but said worship God otherwise you have to provide an evidence that he said so and this should be authentic.
sister massira: I am not trying to force any body to convert to Islam because this is in the hands of God only but I am trying to say as we live in the 21 century that we have to depend on authentic sources and have strong faith based on evidence. Even Jesus and Moses PBUT provided proofs to their people.

Maybe it's just dancing different to the same music and how we all perceive "the word"? From across a football field I can't tell a Muslim from a Christian, can you? We may just be stuck on details that really don't mean anything to our "higher power". Maybe dwelling on what makes us different is all of our sins rather then dwelling on what makes us the same. I wonder what our "higher power" thinks about that? It may not matter what we call all of our higher power, it may be one in the same.
I'll be frank, I have never studied either religion. With that said, I have a feeling that if I keep an open mind and did study both I would find more similarities then differences. Comment?

Not that I'm trying to offend you or anything but your account was quite biased. Yes, God did give us "superior brains" compared to animals and stuff like that but if a God were to be able to create such "superior brains" wouldn't he be like a google times superior to us? We would be retards compared to him and he would want to test our faith. Anyway I'm a Christian and yes we rely on faith but there is a lot of evidence in the bible, isn't that similar to like evidence of Islam, so in a way Christianity has some evidence and mostly faith.I hope i haven't offended anyone, and I don't study Islam so i can't say much about it. Anyway, good luck convincing the world!

You are right in that there is one true religion, but which one? I go for Christianity. There is proof. Jesus said He'd live again after being killed and in 3 days He was alive again. This would seem pretty evidence based to me.

Yes, you did convince me, that Islam the evidence-based that it's main prophet love children not the same way Jesus love children. Your prophet loved children the same as Michael Jackson, while Jesus warned about hurting children.

There are many gods to chose from, but only one is the true God. The true God is invisible, but can be found if we seek Him out. We can't find him with the mind, for God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. So through our spirit we can contact God, but with our mind He cannot be seen.
It is from our spirit that God the Spirit works to make His home in our heart/soul. The leading part of our soul is the mind, with the will and emotion following. The Lord needs us to turn to Him to have our minds renewed. Our thinking is in the ways of man, not God, but as God makes Himself known in our spirit, we begin to think the way He does and see things the way He sees it. Just as He is, so also we will be. Since the mind is the leading part of who we are, the will and emotion follow suite with what we think.
The faith you speak of ultimately is from Christ Himself. He is the Author and Perfector of our faith. So the source is from God Himself, which is Christ Jesus our Lord. Since He authored it, we ourselves cannot produce faith without Him.

You can't prove the truth is a lie, any more than you can prove your false religion is real. How can any religion say believe in our way or die and be real.
True Christianity says you have the choice, Jesus died for you but you have the choice of asking him to be your savior or not.
Jesus is God the Son and he died for your sins as well as mine.

I thought Muslims had blind faith, too. Honestly I think there are infinite paths to the higher power and no one path is better than another. How can we, mere human beings with finite lives possibly understand something infinite?

The right to believe in whatever you want is the real question. No religion that I am aware of give you the right to believe whatever you want. After all, do you want someone telling you what to believe? Take in all the information and believe in what you choose to. I don't think Christians or Muslims believe in that.
Freedom of choice to believe what you want. That is the issue.
