eat a sprig of parsley. If you are out at a restaurent they will usually garnish a garlic dish with this especially for that purpose.

Chewing parsley helps.
But if you're cooking the garlic yourself, try roasting it before you need it, this gets rid of the bad breath but doesn't harm the flavour.

Eat lots of fresh fruits after the food with garlic, then use mouthwash, you should be ok.

Trust me,, dont believe anyone, you cant!!!! your breath will stink for two days. Dont eat garlic, it makes you smell, and its a real turn off.
