Leave him alone. He obviouslky means mainstream VR! Well, I'd say it will be until a company such as Google takes interest in it. It's there, but I don't think they'll bother until after PS3, etc. It often gives headaches. hope I helped =)

Not only is vr games available but the technology that is currently functional , would blow your mind. For instance , i was recently informed of something that made me laugh histerically. my common sense failed to recognize the tangible possibility and yet the integrity of the speaker along with justifyable reasonings he gave , caused me to understand the situation. lets try it on you to see if you have a similar experience.........teleportation ! ...as in...." scotty , beam me up " in star wars. The ficticious version isn't what we have or not so as I was told. he said our military has the technology to tempotarily alter a persons gene structure which creates invisibility. I was a bit vague after becomming invisible. I guess when you are invisible , you just walk up to the enemy without being seen. With all sincerety , the secrets our government hide from us is unbelievable. I feek as though ( and this " will " sound strange ) a strange twist of fate is why we are at this elevated level in techo-advancement. In 1947 , in Roswell New Mexico , we found ourselves looking into the future. Irrregardless of your religious preferences , you must understand that chance of another existing life form is more probable than winning the lottery or being struck by lightening. but on that fateful day in 1947 , it happened. we were hit by lightening a milisecond after hitting the jackpot.. Up until that time , mankind has managed a radio and after this object fell from the sky... we were catapulted into technological whiz kids that has now reached invisibility. So , set your phaser gun on " stun " only because the next stranger may be even more valuable.....like perhaps the understanding behind seemingly normal persons allowing a dip-stick like George Bush to become president...........twice !?!?!

If you mean the real VR games. It means you can act as a main charcater in a game. You can feel, think, and play to flow a game. Your uniform is also changed when you buy a new one. You can fight monsters with a hero power yourself but you are not dead for real. The environments around you are as if you are in the other worlds

For example like Final Fantasy a great RPG game.

In that case, I think we have to take more years and years. We cannot determine exactly when. Maybe none of us can see it in 10-20 years

I hope this can help

We already have virtual reality games, however they are not as popular as say PS2 games or XBox games, because they are very expensive and not suitable for home use. They take up much space and are costly. Hopefully in the years to come, virtual reality games for homes will become a reality!

there already is, for about 2 grand you can pick up a decent one, however have you not notiched all these new controls playstations have bought out, golf clubs, guiters, skateboard, even virtual ballet stands?? All are virtual realisty, however if you mean when we will be able to pick up reasonably priced reality head sets like what you see in certain movies, (ie minority report) i think they will be available on the general market in about 10 years???

We already have some...If you're talking really advanced stuff like in The Island, then who knows. Technology is hard to predict. In the 80's they thought we'd have flying cars by 2005 and has anyone seen one of those driving down their street today?
