Yes, just shows how times have changed. At one time TOTP was pretty cool and one of the TV highlights of the week.
It was an interesting last show wasn't it - I found it strangely moving seeing all the DJs of my youth. Tony Blackburn & Sir Jimmy are still class performers in my book.

Not unless he came back from the dead ... He died earlier this year from liver failure brought on by his alcohol problems. The TV programme might have been recorded but only a few days earlier than it was broadcast!

Yes it was him, they said that on the programme. Don't think it could've been his wife as he wasn't married at the time!
