Change to a better station?
I don't know what you listen to but my radio station doesn't play any r&b or hip hop (or pop or country or rap)

If it sounds so crap do you really think it would dominate the radio today? R&B and Hip Hop is good music. We all have our own tastes but that does not give you the right to judge this type of music. The creativity of that music is people rapping, beat boxing, dancing, singing, the beat and so much more. It doesnt all sound the same. Those guys out there are rapping and singing mainly about their life and what they have been through. This type of music takes talent and it is music from the heart.

Because hip-hop and RnB is the new pop! I think these days music is soo much better than what it was. They use to play NSync and Britney Spears all the time!! So just enjoy Rihanna, Ciara and Yung Joc. They're beats are great and don't sound the same. Each song has a different message, a different beat and melody.

But If you don't like dancing, I get what ur saying 'cos this music means dancing! lol. I use to be the same, until one night I just got up and danced.

But if you still don't like it, change the station. Explore different music. I know every city has such a good Rock station.

Despite your perceived lack of creativity, the reason that it's everywhere is because it's what most people want to loosen to. R&B and hip hop isn't crap, it just isn't your flava', so to speak. Hit the seek button on the radio, there is lots of other stuff out there.

I bet you belong to the old generation(like my mom). Hiphop/r&b of today isn't all that crappy, it just happens to have a different approach to other people. But yeah, i must admit most of yesterday's music was really awesome.

One mans crap is another mans treasure. I agree with you that it all sounds the same, but we can't knock it. I personally.....again personally don't and can't understand why country music all sounds the same. "my wife left with my dog and my brother in law, broken hearts, pick up trucks double wide trailers and yippee kie yea. To each it's own.
