Carl Nicholas Henty-Dodd (born July 28, 1935) is better known by his stage name Simon Dee. He was a British television interviewer and radio disc jockey who hosted a twice-weekly chat show Dee Time, but after moving from the BBC to London Weekend Television he was dropped and his career never recovered.

Wikipedia does not give a date of death, so I assume he is still alive.

Who is Simon Dee? If it is someone who was famous then give us some more info and we might know or be able to find out, if it is a personal contact then this isn't the place.

Yes he is alive and appeared on TV a few months ago, but can't remember the programme. He was totally self-centred and up himself (no change there, then)

he is over 70 now - not a good age for someone who was famous for being young - but he last attempted to re-launch his career as recently as 2003.

like christine keeler dee is very much someone who rapidly became a living fossil of himself.
