quitting my job. after i finished college, i got a job as a teacher in my neighborhood. the problem was that the management was crazy and the situation there was extremely tensed. some teachers were friends with the manager, some hated her (she was a woman) and she tried to make me stand for her as being unfair to those who didn't like her. so i said to myself, why bother with this kind of atmosphere and i quit. it was the best thing to do, i got my master degree, and now I'm attending a PhD and teaching at an university. I've published a book of short stories and many articles ever since. if i hadn't done that, i would have probably remained there in that horrible atmosphere.

A serious one-Long time ago when I was 16 my mom was taken to hospital with a cancer tumour, said she didn't know if she would ever come back or how long she would stay...Two days later I had a phone call from her...No one knew how(even her and she's a doctor herself)but the "thing" disappeared somehow...She said she was going back home...She had to go through chemotherapy anyways but the tum or never appeared again...
The best thing was that phone call..."Hey,see you within two hours, looks like I am ok again, the son of a b**** disappeared..."

Meeting my best friend Nena. We both went to Job Corps in Mt Vernon, and we ended up in the same dorm. When I introduced myself to her, she kinda freaked out at first... because she's the really shy type. And I'm the opposite. But anyways. It's a long story... the point is that she's really changed my life. And I'm not in love with her or anything, but she's such a good friend to me that I would do anything for her. I know she'd do the same for me. It's almost like we're sisters yet opposites. Weird and unique.

The first best thing that happened to me was the best Christmas present I ever got. My son was born on Boxing Day (December 26th). The funny thing was, he was born on 12/26 at 12:26 PM!

My second best thing happened two years later on 9/30. ..and weirdly, at 9:23 (the doctor wouldn't call his birth time as 9:30!)

The births of my two little boys.

The best thing that ever happened in my life is having my four children who I love with all of my heart and who mean the world to me. A child is the biggest miracle in the world. it's so precious and innocent when it's just born and it so beautiful to see them grow and become more and more independent. It's a wonderful process to see them grow up and prepare them for that big world that is out there where they have to make it some day but with lots of love and respect they will make it and they will one day follow their hearts and make their dreams come true no matter how high they need to fly to reach for their stars.

Childbirth. Yes nothing comes even close to it . Not name not fame not money. And i think only the birth of a grandchild could surpass the feeling.

My kids, I loved watching them learn to walk, talk and making me proud. Even looking at their pictures makes me laugh and smile.

Making the babies was fun too, but thats for another day.
