Do you mean Elmo?..he ran the pub where Jacko went to..I think then Elmo won the pools or something sold his pub and emigrate to Australia to Alice Springs where he could set up a by the "beach" little did Elmo know that Alice Spring is about 15,000 miles inland...he later returned in the series to set up a "classy" wine bar..where everything was pink..but this was a show of the eighties..
