Not possible under the U.S. Constitution to change the law in such a manner. Only in the event of the U.S. actually being in a state of war would his term be extended.

None is indispensable. I am sure, there is no dearth of talent in US and everyone has to step down after giving his/her best within the legitimately allocated time span, paving way for the next best in the interest of Democracy and the Country!
