Usually, when a person outgrows the need for an item of clothing, they will do away with it. On the same tokes, it is time for you to make a change. Friendships are to be cherished; but friendships like this one are only one-sided.
Get over it and get another friend, or several.

Your true friend wouldn't lie to you in the first place. If the guy you like isn't paying any attention to you, then it looks like you have more than one problem already. You should have talked to the guy you've mentioned anyway or one of your other friends to find out the truth.

friends are jealous if you fancy someone. if you get a new man you will spend less time with her, it is instinctive for her to try to stop that instead of just wishing you luck.
