He had his chance (and plenty of them aswell) Did you see that catch he tried to take to his right in the last test? He had no chance of getting to it so decided to jump out in front of slip to try and put him off. Luckily for Jones the slip caught it but it didn't do alot for his judgement.
If you're a wicket keeper and you can't keep wicket very well then he's no chance of playing, never mind getting up the order.
Bring back Jack Russell - now there's a proper wicket keeper like!

are you really serious, I dont agree with you. OK lets give him a chance up the order, now can you please set the batting order?
Alester Cook? Kevin Peterson? Ian Bell?
So you going to disturb any one of the above batsman, and I think you are actually breaking the backbone of the English team.

He has had a good run but his batting has let him and England down. Competition for places is a good thing I am sure that he will come again.

He has been playing constantly for the last year to 18 months, recently his batting has been a bit dodgy so lets try someone else.

he cant bat that well to be lifted up the order in tests and in odi they have tried it but with limited success. i want to see chris read back in the team regularly especially after the headingley performance
