without religion there would be good people doing good things and bad people doing bad things. with religion there are bad people doing bad things and good people doing bad things. if you consider the muslim terrorists you have to think from their point of view what they are doing is morally right. they dont see it as a bad thing because of religion. if the world was all united under one religion would there be peace?

Religion used to be about controlling early populations before the civil and social structure were in place.
You see some clever blokes in the middle-east thousands of years ago realised they didn't have a clue how things worked, why we were here or what our purpose was. They also realised that no one else did either so they made up a God. It was a convenient cover-all answer to all the big questions and it helped them control their growing civilisation with some common sense rules.
We don’t need that anymore. It’s holding us back.
Humans are just Apes; death IS the end; the world is unfair.
Get used to it. It all just makes more sense.
Try looking at the world from that point of view and you'll be surprised how good you feel, because it sucks to be lied too
So we so seriously do not need any more religions, not even a united one.

Yes. Religion causes nothing but wars and fights.
Hardly a day passes without hearing about some muslim blowing themselfs up and killing people. But muslims see this as "OK" because it's all in the name of religion, and if they blow themselfs up they get 40 virgins in heaven (or so their religion makes them believe).
Summary: The world would be a much better place without religion

This is a classic case of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". Religion in itself is a good thing, but the way man has implemented and used it has made it a bad thing.
Pretty soon the churches are going to be forced to have signs on them by the Surgeon General: Warning... Religion is a leading cause of death. Do not practice.

Religion is not a bad thing and i believe there is a god and only one god.......Yes there are many different religions in the world and ppl do interpret the bible differently and create religions from their interpretations but even if there was no one religion i still think that there will be evil........it's how we humans are......life was not meant to be easy and if it was i think that we would take it for granted................

Yes, it is so. Because everyone thinks that his/her religion is best and try to impose its view on the other.
Also, there is no question of one religion for peace, because in that case also there will be wars to decide 'which one?'.
there should be NO religion for any peace.

no, money love is, Evil and bad things happened all the times because the existence of greedy people who wanted more and more of everything (money, territories, slaves, ...) whatever their religion is.
so religion has nothing to do with Evil (except in terrorists acts ofcourse).

i have no comment of this, but i think u need to know that IT'S NOT THE RELIGION'S FAULT!! It's TOTALLY human's fault that they don't really know about their religion or even about their lives. Some of the terrorists are people who has been BRAIN-WASHED or people who are completely INSANE. i can't blame the religion. religion has its good and bad sides. it all depends to the people who has religion.

Of course not. Religion is an outdated way for Man to accept he doesn't have to die, and GOD knows it causes a hell of a lot more trouble then it's worth, but human nature is at the root of every atrocity in history.
Violence, hate and fear are very real parts of each and every one of us.
