Because you're treading on her turf. I had a little sister who was lonely during our teens and would always want to hang around when I had friends or boyfriends over. It would cramp my style. Whilst I felt sorry for her, I wasn't prepared to share friends, because that would be too easy for her. I wanted her to risk putting herself out there so that she could develop a sense of who she really was. We have such different personalities that my friends didn't suit her. In a way she was taking the easy way out. I didn't want to encourage that dependent behaviour. Ask your sister if she feels the same way. She probably really loves you, even enough for her to tell you to find your own boys.

Most likely, they want all of the attention the guy has to offer, they don't want their younger sister hanging around.

Because they fear that their guy friends will find you more attractive than she is, so it is jealousy...pure and simple.
