It depends on how bad you're addicted.

I used to smoke but i had only been smoking for about a year and then i just stopped buying packs and tried not to hang around people who smoke or told them to not smoke around me... just start cutting down and then make sure you dont get a pack.. none of that "This is my quitting pack" bullsh it either. And try not to bum cigarettes off anyone unless you are absolutely trippin balls. In fact tell them to help you and not to give you a cig. In the back of my head I always want a fuc king cigarette especially when i see someone smoking... but i just think of something else and go do something else... i havent had one in almost two months.

Anyways the odds that this will work are slim to none but if you wanna quit cold turkey i think that's the only way.

Find a new healthy addiction like exercising.

It's all a matter of willpower. Don't listen to the horror stories of "addiction". That's bull! You've got to ask yourself why you want to quit(it has to be for yourself, no other reason), and you have to be honest with yourself that you are really ready to quit. Cold turkey is the best way to go,but the patch/pills/hypnosis also help some folks. Try it & find out for yourself which way works for you. You might want to remove any guns or knives from the house first(just kidding). Also, it really helps to have someone to yell at because you'll be a little jumpy for a few days. Listen, if you really want to quit, you'll do it. If not, nothing in the world will make you quit. Good luck & hang tough!

well..if you don't want to use any products like chewing gums or candy. Then you need a psychological approach in this problem. Pray for it. If you really want to quit something, you have to be determined to do it with God's guidance. God bless!

Do you really want to? If you do, then it's a question of sheer willpower, if you dont you never will be able to.
