Yeah, it would be cool, but it would also be boring. Not having to do anything or care about anybody. As human beings, we have to have a purpose to serve, and being on full-time vacation wouldn't serve any purpose for the greater good. Mind you, I am not a workaholic, but I think having responsibility and having things which need to be done, and people who you have to care about, gives purpose to your existence. It was attitudes like that that led to the collapse of the Roman empire -- people just got so lazy and so complacent that they weren't prepared for a well-organized band of battle hardened barbarians. I'd find the seven day weekend to be rather boring, personally.

Unless your folks are millionaire or royalties where are you gonna find the funds to enjoy your wekends unless you work for it first. Paris Hilton parties everyday now we know the people she parties with pay her for the priviledge. So its possible these days to get a job as a partier in which case weekend for 7 days and you enjoy it.

I don't really think that is logical--but noteworthy none the less---but i TRULY think that a 3 day weekend isn't too much to ask for. We spend was too much time working and not enough time enjoying life. What's the point of life if we can'wtnjoy it.
