the characters based solely on the book or the characters as portrayed in the movie? in the book I say Dally, then Johnny then Soda, but for the movie I so Soda Pop...I had a fascination with Rob Lowe...I still want to shag Cherry though...

Ponyboy. Cause of that name. I nearly named my daughter Ponyboy, but that woman I was married to was all like, "Nuuu, then our baby will go thru life thinking she's a pony -- or a boy!"

But come on, isn't having a cool name like Ponyboy worth a little gender/species confusion? Anyway, we ended up compromising and naming her "Patrick Swayze" instead.

Ponyboy, but it's been ages since I read the book and a long time since I saw the movie. But I remember I loved Ponyboy Curtis.
