well.. here in Finland the nights are like days in summer. That means that they are very light and bright. Nights have started to get very much dark already since summer is going to be over soon, but I would say that I like the light nights more

Both have equally good qualities.
Light nights are great for sitting outside, BBQs and drinking.
Dark nights are great for snuggling with DVDs and chocolate.
