transmission?

sounds like my fly wheel is bad its making a scraping and chirping sound, have to bring it to shop is it ok to still drive it ??

It should be ok. Just take it easy!! It could be just the pilot bearing too!! As long as it is not a grinding sound and ya dont have too far to go.

Take it very easy. RPMs are your enemy with possible fly wheel problems. I wouldnt worry, but better safe than sorry. And it could very well be just a bearing.

If it's an automatic it may be your torque converter,drive it there you just might make it.
