brown and brown/black for light tones skin with golden highlights in the hair
navy for light skin tone without any warm highlights in hair
black for deep skin tones without warm highlights in hair
brown/black for deep skin tones with warm highlights

for fun-
green eyes- plum mascara
blue eyes- copper mascara, green mascara

best mascara application uses two coats, initital coat should be applied and squished deeply into the lashes. second coat should be applied after the first is dry and concentrated on the tips.

black is classic and works best, unless you have light hair, then use dark brown. Use one light stroke at first, comb if you mess it up or if there're any clumps(buy a special small comb or brush for eyelashes). If your eyes are wide set, use more in your inner corners. In all other cases, start from the outer corner to avoid getting messy inner corners and panda eyes.
Apply one more coat if you want more definition, but too much can look tacky. Comb again after second coat.
If you want to go all out, use black combined with a coat of very dark navy or violet - makes eyelashes look very dark and defined.
Do not overdo it- it looks creepy and spidery

normally i will use the curler first before the mascara...depends on the effect you want...if you will thick and heavy lash effect then you can choose those will the fibre that have extention effect then apply a coat of adding volume mascara...as for colour depends on occassion...if you prefer it to have a natural look then choose a brown mascara...as sometimes black mascara gives a harsh and fake lash effect instead...try it out and you will find one that suits you best...=)

Put the brush under your lashes and blink.Move the brush and open your eye.Do the same again if you want to add more.Or ask your friends, and for the color...well, try them all!Begin with black if you have dark hair, and try brown if you have lighter hair.Later you can experiment and see what you like best.

If you have dark hair or dark skin, you should use black. If you're blonde you should use brown/dark brown.

I don't recommend bright colors, they're tacky looking and they go in/out of style quickly.
