go to website http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and here the Trend micros systems provides you with a free online virus scanner. Use this and get rid of all the viruses resident on your comptuer. Note sometime you may have to try more than once because the virus hangs your computer.

www.avast.com is a free virus program that even has a boot scan that will check you comp before everything starts to work... i have used it for over a year and i have had no probs with it....
also check at housecalls it will scan your comp and tell ya what is wrong

yeah there are many but i use avg antivirus
www.free.grisoft.com here u will get free subscription u will have to download the free version here and update your antivirus from time to time everyday without fail once a day.
