okay i am just way curious as to whether this actually happens or not: a fan of a celebrity, singer in a band, etc actually GETTING TOGETHER with that person in some sort of way because they are like ridiculously "in love". haha im just wondering if it does happen. it would actually be pretty sweet because it gives all of us girls who obsess even in the slightest way over a 'rockstar', and GIRLS we cna all admit it evne if we are 18 years old! :P

I read in an interview once that Janne Wirman (Children of Bodom's keyboardist) almost called security because some random chick followed him and Alexander Kuoppala (the guitarist) to their hotell room and kept trying to get in Alexander's bed.
So yes, that sort of thing does happen but the celebrity never enjoys it. I mean, what would you think if some random guy wanted to date you because he had seen your picture and decided that you were hot? That's called a stalker.
I obsess over celebrities but not to the point of having crushes on them.
My favorite celebrities are Janne Wirman, Heri Joensenn (lead singer from the band Tyr), Hansi Kürsch (lead singer and bassist from Blind Guardian) and Xy (keyboards and drums from Samael). Heck, now I think of it Hanso and Xy aren't even very hot. I just like them cause they're awesome.
