The better question is: "Who cares?"

This is not altogether true. If you have a business you want it in the black. Black soil is rich soil. In some cultures black is worn to weddings and white to funerals.

How one relates blackness to evil is cultural & possisibly primal. One would not want to walk in the forest or even ones home if it is totally dark without assistance of a torch, it would be dangerous. One trip over a tree root or twist of an ankle in a hole, or hitting ones foot on furniture is enough to convince anyone of the dangers of darkness.

White is considered evil when related to leprosy or death.

Naturally the sky is black. If were not for the star we call sun shining through the atmosphere the sky color would not appear blue, red, yellow, orange, green or violet.

Black is the absence of colors and white is the mixture of colors.

The mistake made nearly 500 years ago is when Humans began to decribe and classify Humans as white and black; relating it to the primal connotations of their cultures.

because black has always represented darkness - and in turn, darkness represents everything that can't be seen, which is what people are usually afraid of. White represents light, because it reflects all colors. People aren't afraid of the light because it represents everything that can be seen and everything that is known. Just my take on it... it has nothing to do with black and white, it has to do with darkness and light
