Good question! My first reaction was of heartbreak as i watched places in Israel get bombed--places that I was at just 3 yrs ago. It seemd almost un-real.

Then I was hit with the realization that terrorism has a large network and it isnt just about the middle east anymore. Terror is after the whole world--none of us are safe.

Sadness--for all the people on both sides that had to leave their homes, jobs and possesions in order to survive.

Then my final and current reaction is based on the Bible where God talks about this and I know the time is short and Jesus will be back and he will bring peace--for that I am very happy.

Hezbollah got more than they bargained for. Then Israel got more than they bargained for. Now each side is insisting on terms such that in order for one side to be met, the other cannot (Israel says it wants unconditional return of the soliders and hezbollah disarmed and then it will withdraw, hezbollah says that it will not cease-fire while israeli troops are in lebanon). The root cause, however, is Israel's racist policies towards the palestinians and arab israelis.

It's time for Israel to grow up, become a real democracy, and recognize equality for all human beings, not just the jewish people. This means annexing palestine and giving the palestinians israeli citizenship (currently they're not citizens of any country). Easier said than done, but the other choice is more of the same and an eventual nuclear attack by a terrorist group.

A 2 state solution is not-workable. Palestine would be divied up into partitions with daily checkpoints to pass from one side of the country to the other (or not, if israel decides), and of course would have no control over its own airspace or military... the only solution is israeli citizenship for all people under its control, that includes palestine.

Killing of innocent people whether in Lebanon, Israel, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, America, Iraq, or in Afghanistan, any where for that matter is bad. Generals ,Leaders, Presidents play the war game and common people die. Soldiers die by choice (They have chosen the career of killing or be killed by others and are paid for that) but the common people are made to die without any fault on their part so that some General ,Leader, President can score some point against others and enjoy the game.

Tired of the whole situation . The lebanese government should be held accountable for the HZ e-bola terrorists launching rockets at Israel . Come on , the Israeli's are human beings that deserve to have a place where they can live in peace .

Whatever may be the past history , the degree of retaliation by Israel for just the detainment of two soldiers is highly unjustifiable and inappropriate . No wonder more and more terrorists are born every minute.

I think it will be a great day in the world when Hezbollah is eliminated. Will that happen? Probably not, but I can dream.

Sadness. The only devide between the people is religious doctrine. Why is it that there is no belief in peace?
