There's a boy, Ben, in my class, and I'm going into grade 8 in Septemeber, by the way. Anyway, I like him, and we met in grade 6, and I really like him, and it seems like he likes me too. We make jokes, and stuff, but we argue a little bit. But who doesn't? I'm afraid that if I say I like him, he won't say the same, and our friendship would be ruined forever. Any tips?

Tell Ben that u like him. Your friendship wont be in ruined, in fact you'll be closer to him than u are now. I doubt any guys, especially in the 8th grade wouldnt want a girl to say to them that she fancies them. It's morale boosting, whether they like the girl or not. Unless of course if the guy's a gay, even then.. he will be flattered. Im telling u this as a guy. But im sure in this case, he will state the same thing. Good luck to you and him.

Make a joke about u likn him and if he smiles and says sumthn cute bac than there u go.U could also get a couple of ur close friends to drop a hint.

If he likes u alot and u know it then either wait for him to tell u he likes u or just tell him and if doesn't accept it then ask if u could still be friends it might even turn into true luv!!!!

Well, why don't you guys go for a movie or some place romantic, and see if he tries to hold ur hands or if teh two of u naturally gravitate towards each other

I don't think you should jump right in and tell him "I LIKE YOU!" But if you really like him you should definitely keep in touch and then maybe when you two really get to know each other you can hint to him tell him that you like him. Don't beat around the bush too much.

Sometimes we make things complicated ourselves. If you like him tell him, it is better than hiding your feelings. They say if you love someone tell him don't wait long may be someone else will come in between.
Tell him that you like him, if he says yes good in worst case if he say no. You can still be friends.
