Are white men superior in some way?

this is a serious question, I mean I have absolutly nothing against women or people of differnt ethnic origins but has there ever been a time when white males were suppressed by another race? given there was sevatude and serfdom and all that jazz but it was still with a white man in controll. Can you think of any enslaved race in the history of man kind that wasnt precided over by a white man in some way? or if white males were ever enslaved? I would genuinly like to know

Dark skinned people were cursed by God for wickedness (their fore-fathers were) and the curse has been carried down from generation to generation. The dark skin is a mark of the more serious curse, though, in reality, so that others who are not cursed won't mix or mingle with their blood unless they want their children to have the curse as well.
Kind of sucks, but that's just the way God did it.
They will have the curse lifted when they accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ in it's entirety and live it and help build the Kingdom of God.

They won't have dark skin after the resurrection.

Great question!! White men have held all the power for far too long....I always say it's time for them to ride on the back of the motorcycle for a few centuries.

It's my belief that, as with politics, there just hasn't been enough of a joint effort to change it. Sure there are feminist groups and rasicsm groups, but the collective majority just sits and waits and complains for these groups to make something happen.

It's shocking to me that in 2006, 43 years after the Equal Pay Act of 1963, women and people of color are still being paid less for equal work then white men. 43 years? Where are the white men that find this appalling? I know several actually, but again they are a small group.

What I don't think most consider is the damage unequal pay does to working families and men. Working families (both parents working) lose more than $4000.00 per year due to unequal pay. That's huge! Men in predominately female occupations such as, nurses, librarians, teachers, lose roughly $6300.00. Again....huge!

What do the white male majority tell their daughters when the girls realize they will be paid .76 cents to every $1.00 men make?

I dont agree with that at all. I believe that your intention of asking this question is genuine and is not associated with any arrogance at all.

I think that your notions of superioty is wrong and has to be reconsidered. By the term superiority what do you mean? Superiority means just power?? No. its far from that. There are things much more than that. The cultures which were labelled as just inferior by the whites were so infinitely rich in their own way. The Eastern civilization had such an in depth knowledge about God and devised such ingenious methods to attain Him, and when the whites percieved them they just lablled them as a bunch of idol worshippers and herectics who were utterly ignorant according to their standards. How can they judge the people who were toatally different from them?But what was the truth? They were so much far ahead of the materialistic civilization of the west or so called white men.

And the white men who considered that they had the natural authority over the land and claimed the land where they had arrived absolutely impoverished them.Exploited all their riches and still worse implanted in their minds with the belief that what they taught and learned till then was worthless and conditioned them furthur with the notion that everything associated with the color white is superior. If judging from all these actions who is superior and who is not?

Do you really believe that the Zulu, Mayans, Macassans and Chinese all imported white overseers to supervise their slaves? You can't be that naive, surely?

And yes, Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun captured tens of thousands of white slaves from western Asia and Europe. Similarly the Imperial Japanese captured hundreds of thousands of white slaves during WWII.

So what exactly is your point? That you hopelessly naive about world history?

White does not equal superior. Yes there have been white slaves to other races all through history. But slavery was practiced by nearly all races upon their own races or at least on their neighbors. When slavery became at odds with our ideals as illustrated through our constitution, it still took several generations to do away with it. Slavery still exists today in many parts of the world, especially noted in northern Africa at the hands of Muslims. There are groups here in America where people voluntarily give themselves to be slaves but this usually involves sexual perversions including torture. Yes some people like being tortured for sexual pleasure.

I think maybe it was luck of the draw and location, location, location... nothing to do with genes because as we all know who studied geneology... there are three dominant genes in the world and variations of those three only. The only reason they were white is because their ancestors didn't go near the equator. What would consider more advanced: people who share land without ownership or people who own things and have to pay for everything, eventually causing slavery? I think the 'civilized' people have it backward while the natives had the right idea. I'm using hindsight here.

I don't think skin has jack to do with any superior abilities. I've always wondered why people have so much pride in something they were born into, instead of what they achieve.
I hate that the issue is still around in anyway. It's a circular argument with no winner and getting so dull sometimes I just want to cry.

The term "White" is more vague than you would think.

For example, I am Mexican American, but not quite. My mother is from Spain (a "White" race) and my father is from Mexico (which is in fact half "White," give its European descent, and "Brown," given its native history. However, this stream of "Brown" can be traced back to Africa, which would make it "Black.")

So you see, I'm both White and Native American and African.

Skin pigmentation is the result of years of evolution. Northern folks adapt their noses to have larger air ducts. The cold air around them needs more time to warm up before it reaches their lungs.

Africans grow skinny and tall because heat can be more effectively expelled from their bodies that way.

White men are superior simply in the sense that they got lucky: they understood that they should govern their world BEFORE any "Black" inhabitants did.

Had "Black" peoples found out their position in the world a lot sooner, they would be the ones in control.

But take notice to also look into the cultural aspects of the "White" man's early discovery.

In colder weathers (such as in the North, which pretty much covers all of Europe), people tend to seek refuge a lot more, leading to a stronger family unit, leading to more time to think given their environmental limitations. You can only go hunting every other day, so you get to meet your compatriots much better than if you could get out everyday, as would be the case in warmer climates, like in Africa.

The weather, their closer family and relationship ties due to their proximity and higher level of exposure, led the White men to an earlier discovery that they should govern their world.

Funny to think that "Black" peoples got cheated simply by a range in temperature.

So would this meteorological influence characterize "White" men as superior?

I think, like I said before, that they simply got lucky.

I think that Jews people is superior to other races, because Jews in average get higher scores in IQ. Also, most scientist in the world are Jews. Jews are just 0.2% of the world population, but 87% of the people who got noble prize are Jews.

No! no difference in skin color. Only in anatomy men have more muscle than most women, physically. Then again some women are physically stronger. That is all.
