An erection so hard that it won't move isn't impossible but it's atypical. An erection of that sort should be highly uncomfortable. Pain is very relative, as a general rule if it stops you from preforming what you set out to do with your penis you're in a bad way and should see a Doctor, if you can get by just fine you may still want to see a doctor if this is happenning to you all of the time.

I would say no...but there is more to it...sometimes it will get sore...mainly caused by prolonged erections...it is not a natural state (erections) I mean its not bad...but its not how we are supposed to stay...so if this happens just from that occasional hard on you may want to be worried...
