they do it so they know where to direct public money. the more people in your area, the more money will be spent on roads, schools, and utilities. it also helps so they know how many people to post the population. like those signs that say, "Town, Pop. 12" or something.

If you haven't done anything wrong, what does it matter? If you have, why should anyone care? You can find anyone's address just by going down to your local electoral office. Every time I move address I get a letter from them. Apparently the Transport Dept tells them when I change the address on my rego, so privacy went out the window many years ago, it's not something new. What's next? I think they're bringing in some kind of australia card if you want any government benefir, which is more than half the population these days. Then it will spread to everyone, and then it will be a retinal scan, or some kind of implant. Get used to it.

Names and addresses are not illegal per se. It is not invading privacy because the government must know its citizens and its addresses for the proper implementation of police power.

no!they already knew who you are thru tfn,medicare and so on.this things are being going on for many times.it's up to you to answer the questionaire truthfully or just falsely.it will take 99 years to bring it out to the public what u have written in the sensus form.tou will be gone by that time comes.
