I agree. I'm very sick of it.

They keep saying that we should "support our President". Well, we're ONLY supposed to do that in wartime? What about when we're at peace, like during most of the Clinton Presidency? We can make fun of them then, and it's okay?

I agree. Those who say that (not all republicans mind you) are hypocrites.

Because Clinton actually had evidence against him when he lied under oath to protect himself from future lawsuits. With Bush, everybody is jumping on the conspiracy bandwagon every chance they get. Look at Dan Rather as a prime example of how far the liberals will go the bash Bush. If it comes out legally that Bush lied, then I'll be the first to criticize him. The problem is that the Democrats are playing stupid by saying that the president mislead them. Do they not have the same info as he does? Since when do they ever believe anything he says? It was popular for the Dems to support the war at first, and it is now popular to be against the war. They have changed their position for political gain. Republicans would have done the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot. Hypocrisy goes both ways, and it you don't think so, you are an idiot.

Republicans are of so moral character they still have fits because of the sex thing with Clinton. So it was there moral duty to spend tax payers money to impeach Clinton. Bush can lie or stretch the truth to involve us in war, but if you speak ill of Bush yes we are un Americans. Guess the right to speak out only applies to Republicans.

It's a whole new level of bashing for this president. I (didn't then and) don't (presently) see too many decent Republicans calling President Clinton a douchebag, or a cun+, or a coke/crackhead, or saying that he organized any of the terrorist attacks that occurred while he was in office, or publishing fake IQ tests and resumes and passing them off as fact, or calling him a racist Nazi, or insulting Democrats for having voted for him, or...the list goes on and on.
These are the things I've seen said about President Bush.
It's one thing to disagree with President Bush's foreign and domestic policies, but quite another to denigrate him the way some of your people do. It's also another thing to start blaming him for everything that goes wrong, from Hurricane Katrina (state's responsibility) to 9/11 (he had eight months to find the people who were going to perpetrate the act, not eight years).
That is where the problem lies. People had an issue with President Clinton's sexual escapades, and lying under oath about it. I was one of the ones who thought that perhaps he might have been still smoking pot and "not inhaling". But I didn't pick him apart for every little thing he did, and neither did anyone I knew.
Unlike people now, with President Bush. It's not treason; it's disrespectful.

Because Bubba did do what he was accused of doing.

Because Bush didn't do what he was accused of doing.

I know that it's too subtle for you, but that's it.

To Whom It May Concern

I was run over by the truth one day.
Ever since the accident I've walked this way
So stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

Heard the alarm clock screaming with pain,
Couldn't find myself so I went back to sleep again
So fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

Every time I shut my eyes all I see is flames.
Made a marble phone book and I carved out all the names
So coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

I smell something burning, hope it's just my brains.
They're only dropping peppermints and daisy-chains
So stuff my nose with garlic
Coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

Where were you at the time of the crime?
Down by the Cenotaph drinking slime
So chain my tongue with whisky
Stuff my nose with garlic
Coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.

You put your bombers in, you put your conscience out,
You take the human being and you twist it all about
So scrub my skin with women
Chain my tongue with whisky
Stuff my nose with garlic
Coat my eyes with butter
Fill my ears with silver
Stick my legs in plaster
Tell me lies about Iraq.
