Honestly, world peace is ONLY possible if one of 2 things happen. Remember, in order to have world peace, the world must unite as ONE. It must come together and actually agree. The first thing that might bring about world peace, is an extraterrestrial threat. Either an impending meteorite, or a more advanced lifeform which is perceived as threatening. In this example, people of the world will put aside their stupid insignificant differences and focus on survival. It will not bring about world peace if a mad-man threatens to nuke the world because people will still choose sides. The only other thing that will bring world peace is if one religion proves itself correct, and disproves all other religions. (example: second coming of christ) This option is far less likely because there will always be skeptics and disbelievers even if the truth is staring them in the face. Unfortunately, in my opinion, our society will destroy itself, (or demote back to iron/bronze ages) before we see world peace.

We will never reach world peace, there will always be someone that's going to cause wars and **** like that but it doesn't hurt to try. As long as there are people out there that love and care about each other then its good enough for me.

I don't think we will every reach world peace, but we may come close. As long as there is hatred, envy, and ignorant people in this world, cultures will clash forever.

To be honest with you.. im pretty sure your life is peaceful.. if your on a personal computer with internet posting on here.. not to be sarcastic.. but i think the violence level in the world is pretty exaggerated
