You already know the answer to this. Its diet and exercise. The simple fact that you are asking is suggesting that you don't want to go through the "hardships" of dieting and exercising. So, no other idea, then diet and exercise.

First you must sure whether you are really overweight or not. Not just because you feel you are fat then you go to diet. You can check if you are overweight by looking at body mass index table. You probably not overweight yet.
I read that a lot of people suggest to take less fat diet (like dairy milk, cheese etc) and more fiber diet (like vegetables and fruit). We can also add some workout (like aerobic etc). I'm not really sure if this can help because i never have weight problem.

I've heard on average people burn 10cals per pound of weight, (obviously all differs according to your activity level) but then you need to eat 500cals less a day (burn extra 500cals a day) to lose 1lb in a week, so from that you can work out how many calories per day to consume. (altho in my opinion seems very harsh! LOL)

To lose weight you need to take in less calories than you burn. Spend a week figuring up the calories you take in and burn. That will give you a starting point. Decrease your intake, and increase your activity.

Try dieting, but don't crash diet
coz it only make your body dehydrate
And eat proper foods
DO NOT try to starve yourself
And exercise
Don't force yourself further than you can do
Good Luck!!
