if you saw the film Munich....?

can you explain to me why Eric Bana's character kept seeing flashbacks of the Munich murders?

I didn't think that he was seeing flashbacks. It was jsut a cinimatic way to show the murders while showing that Bana's charactor is tormented by his dilema between wanted to get even with the terrorists and but feeling wrong about what he is doing.

At least thats what I got out of it.

I think he was seeing what they went through because of the things that he was doing. he had to put himself in their place in order to justify his killing.
