Yes! Oily skin still needs to be moisturized. The more oil removed from the skin, the more oil the skin will create. I have a combination of dry and oily skin. I use oil blotting papers to remove excess oil. After, I get a nice sheen on my face rather than an oil slick.

Don't wash your face too much... it could give you patches of dry and oily skin.

U still need to use as ur skin outer layer might seem oily, but the inner layer might be dry. the skin still needs moisture to grow lo. Just try to buy moisture which is not too rich. if not it will gives u more white heads.

Another alternative, try using Day cream instead of Night cream, less oily. but also got moisture. that's what i am doing

YEA! I used to not use moisturizer because of same reason. but All beauty-magazines say that oily skin still needs moisturaizer,so I started to apply. Since I started, skin is way better then before and just stop oilin skin. So I think U need to use them.

Make sure u choose light one not heavy one. (I use Clinique Online ,it works great!)

Yes! Most definitely. I know, I know, but moisturizer will make it more oily! You have to go out to a store (Sephora, any salon that has facial care) and tell them that you have oily skin but still need a moisturizer. They should be able to point one out to you, but I would totally reccommend Sephora for that. :)

Everybody ...(yes everybody!) young, old, men, women need moisturisers. The 4 basic stuff everybody needs are...

1) Cleanser
2) Exfoliant
3) Moisturiser
4) Sun protection

If you have oily skin, use oil control cleansers but you still need to moisturise your skin after that...

there are pore refining, acne fighting moisurizers... for oily skin. I have oily skin, sometimes I use proactive, the moisturizer doesn't make you break out and it fades scars. You can also buy a scar fading serum(sold at Wal*mart, Target, Albertsons, ect.), they don't really make you oily and they moisturize your skin just enough (it also makes your skin look healthier).

but don't use normal moisturizers, you'll be greasy and break out.

you always use a moisturizer. any of these *** clowns saying "it will make your skin more oily, etc." are the idiots of said village. if you use an improper moisturizer you can indeed make your skin more oily, acne prone, etc. you want a water based moisturizer, one fragrence free, hypo-allergenic. check Dermalogica or Epicuren...those are the two best product lines available.
