This isn't a movie. When warheads are launched, only the shooter knows where exactly it's going to drop. A missle can be launched within a minute of the order. Say Israel gets nuked by Hezobollah/supporters of them. Than we nuke whoever we feel is responsible. Before that bombs gets past the stratosphere, Russia thinks we're launching on them, so they launch. Because they lauched, we shoot more nukes. Then China, then India, the Pakistan. Soon enough, thousands of missles are in the sky. And every missle contains hundreds of warheads. One early model nuke destroyed Hiroshima. Imagine hundreds of nukes scatter bombing the eastern seaboard. And that's just a single missle.

The Bible is metaphorical. Others will shoot nukes thinking "self defense," and when "fire rains from the sky," we will have end times. Not because of the democrats are against Israel, but because Israel has been killing innocent citizens. They are a regime that legalized torture, force Palestineans in ghettos with meager water rations, and hold over 10,000 foriegn captives without trial or evidence.

"..."Peace and Safety"..." Isn't that what George W Bush said for a reason to go to war in Iraq. Isn't it also the reason that Israel is trying to destroy Hezbollah. I believe the line is "peace and security," but the idea is the same. There is only one country that can ensure the destruction of the world, and that is the U.S.

Israel was recognized in 1948 by a democratic president and has been supported ever since by presidents of both parties. What Bush has done, however, is to make US foreign policy subservient to Israel. This should, of course, be reversed by any sane president.

End times is a mythological concept of no validity. The idea of a god ushering in end times is absurd. Human beings are crazy enough by themselves. You're reading too much prophecy, trying to read meaning into tea leaves and referentially vague statements. You need to get a life.

As for what will happen in two or three months, who knows? There are too many ifs and buts and howevers. The entire Bush administration should be impeached and thrown into the hoosegow, but the likelihood of that happening is zero.

Ahhh another great contridiction in the bible, go figure, if you continue reading in Zechariah, specifically 8:23 it says that the nations will grab hold of the skirt of the Jew because they believe that god is with them (the jews). So it's all about which little passage you care to take out of context. Further Zechariah had was not even talking about our time he was in fact talking about the Israel of his day. Do some research and think for a second before you spout some BS on your blind faith and personal interpritation of a text that not everyone believes in.

I don't see President Bush being impeached, but I do see the U.S. turning against Israel. Its possible that this conflict drags the whole world into the melee and that could set the stage for China to take over. Once the resources of the major players are depleted there's nothing stopping them. At that point the whole world will be set against Israel.

I would like to see people deal with today's issues in TODAY. Israel, like any other country has the power to decide how to deal with their conflicts. Democrats are not extremists as you suggest. Hillary Clinton said that America stands behind Israel, and Israel has the right to defend itself, like any other country.

I do not believe that a Democrat President will advocate not supporting Israel's right to defend itself; however, I do believe that there may be highly-publicized "negotiations" which will be fruitless.

I am sure Joe Lieberman will not advocate not supporting Israel...
