Democrats are idealistic, trouble-causing demogogues! :) Where is this name calling supposed to take us? Try to read Profiles of Courage by JFK and Wealth of Nation of Adam Smith. Politics is a delicate game involving resource allocation. Promises are made before one's actually in the office often uner the the belief that it could be worked out. But, once in office, more matters are revealved and pressures put. Even with the best intentions, it's not easy to keep a promise at a point blank....just like a man telling a woman that he would honor and cherish her for the rest of his life as long as he lives. :) The reality sets in for the spouses and for the politicians.
