I thought George W. Bush was our first minority president. Aren't the mentally challenged in the minority? I don't think it is right for you for making fun of him simply because he is a wheelbarrow of bricks short of a load. Despite the protestations of this administration, it has not done a good job in helping those less fortunate. A case in point is how the administration handled the situation in New Orleans after Katrina. If a similar disaster had hit Shaker Heights or Scarsdale, New York, action from the government would have been fast and furious. The tax giveaway to the rich has not helped minorities, unless they play in the NBA. The lack of a universal health care plan has hurt minorities as well. School systems in the poorer areas are noticeably underfunded compared to other districts, and the Bush administration has turned a blind eye to the problem. Poverty begets poverty. Some economic indicators are up such as the stock market, but this has little effect on the minority working poor. The people who cheered the loudest at the first Bush inauguaration were the wealthiest of Americans. This was true when Reagan was inaugurated. The rich knew they had one of their own in office. The only real tool minorities have for redressing their situation is the vote, and even this has been tampered with. Blacks in Florida were discouraged from voting in certain districts during the last election. The rights of minorities will never be a priority for conservatives.

Yep. GWB is sure enough doing a great job of keeping the minorities down.

That Colin Powell fella for one. And that Condoleeza Rice for another. They were only selected to be Secretary of State.

Oh yeah, that Alberto Gonzales, you know the Attorney General of the United States. GWB made sure he got put in HIS place.

So with the minorities kept from positions of power, GWB then decided to make things great for white people. Unemployment is running 4.6 - 4.8% which is statistically "full employment". But you know what? Since the percentage of blacks in this country is about 12% it looks like some blacks are employed too. And everyone knows that the Mexicans are taking the jobs that whites will not do, so it appears that Hispanics are employed too.

Under Jimmy Carter I believe unemployment was double digit - about where France is now.

And I am making a lot more money now than I was under the Clinton administration.

Too bad GWB is Constitutionally limited to two terms.

But I am only speaking for myself.

By the way sarcastic does not mean uninformed.

In my opinion, Bush isn't doing anything differently than what was done before. If the laws were the way you want them to be, every white person in this country would be an illegal alien. I think everyone should go back to where they came from, including you and all your relatives. Give the land back to who it really belongs... the people who are "called" American Indians while not actually being either.

Do you know of any good things Pres George W. has done?
1. Gave a tax break for income earned tax credit for the poor OF EVERY COLOR YOU STUPID RACIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. (If you do not know of it you have a bad tax accountant or are too rich to need to know.)
2. Gave funding for Faith based schools. Helping HIGHER education! Which gives more of a choice for schools.
3. He made relations with Mongolia! He went to Mongolia recently a Country that has been closed off to the world since forever.
4. He is defending us and the World (England, India etc.) from a sneaky enemy of muslim terrorists.
5. He is ensuring a future of oil for our country for the use of your T.V and microwave. (All the other countries politic one way or another to keep thier supply available.)
6. He is keeping our borders and interior safe by creating a task force called Home Land Security.
7. They stopped Russia from invading Ahfganistan and creating a communist territory. (A Big favor to the ungrateful muslim's.)
8.He changed medicare to help seniors with prescript/med costs.

He is the best friend Israel has ever had. Considering that Israel is the only viable Democracy in the Middle East and that it is the front line in the war against terrorism, that is pretty major.

Poor white people ... with G.W.Bush's performance ... he is isolating them and making America an enemy to the world. He is making them believe that one country on this planet can police and control all other peoples. Isn't this a bad thing ??
He should first of all allow them to watch on TV and hear what he is doing to the rest of the world.
Then he should stop telling them that they are under threat... They are not. Who cares about them ? if they are targetted, it is because of him, and not because of them.
He surely is putting them under threat...
But .... who the hell is going to tell them this while America is a big prison where prisoners are very well isolated from the rest of the world ?
He should go back to the roots and copy the real democracy : Britain (without the poodle Blair). British people are proud, educated, and opened to the world. They are informed ... and very well informed.

It's a real pleasure being white. A have to wear 30 sunblock on the beach. I have to have a full time job. I have to pay taxes. He's doing a good job of keeping the majority down...namely poor people....it's amazing how often we forget that...there are far more people living near the poverty level (white, black,..whatever) than there are "rich" people in this country...continuing to push the idea of a "minority" only serves to make the masses believe they have no strength of will or opportunity...much easier to control....

No, he seems to give alot attention to Hispanics and Blacks as a whole. What about Condi or Alberto Gonzalez? He could pick anyone he likes for a cabinet position but he chose minorities.
