Well I'm white and my fiance is mixed. So obviously I don't have a problem with it. There are some negative sides though... alot of people still look down on it. I'm not sure why though. As long as the 2 people love each other and have common interests I don't really see why it matters. With Alex and I really the only thing we don't have in common is that his skin is a little darker then mine. Personally I've never looked at it as an "interracial relationship" I've always looked at it as a relationship and really I've never thought much about the fact that his race and mine are different until people start asking me about it. If you want to talk about selective breeding I can still make a good argument for it. Think about with dogs and horses. Mixed breed dogs are almost always healthier than purebred dogs and thats a fact. Horses are selectively bred to mix the best characteristics of both breeds. Good examples are thoroughbred and warmbloods. Thoroughbreds are purebreds now but originally they were a cross of native horses of great britain and arabians. Warmbloods are a cross between thoroughbreds and heavier draft breeds. So these are the horses that normally win the olympics so obviously they are doing good.

If people have nothing better to do than worry about whether a multirace (or interracial) marriage is a bad thing, those people aren't wortk knowing. At the end of the day, we don't choose who to fall in love with, and if you and your partner are happy, it makes no difference what other people think....just enjoy each other, and the people who KNOW you both.

Why would you go for interracial marriage, are men or women of your race finished. My dear that is has great problems, and after all, love is all over the globe, you will get someone some day, of your race and you will marry.
The problem , with interracial marriagaes ,is you are never able to change wat nature builds in someone, once someone believes someyhing then thats it, why and who are you to change that somebody? The other issue being who is going to be absorbed by who? This should not happen stick to your race and thats , it why complicate a short life like this we have on earth, be simple and live happily!!

I'm a British white female, and personally i don't see it as a problem.
If i wanted to marry someone from Pakistan for instance, then i would!
If the colour of their skin doesn't bother me, then y should it bother anyone else? At the end of the day, you cant help falling in love....whatever colour or religion either of you are.

Inter-racial marriages are great - they show that our world is slowly starting to treat each other as equals, and not look at skin colour.
