Some people in Japan save their fish parts in a special pot and dig into it after lettting it properly ferment for the pleasure of eating it (I don't know why). It is terrible. In Thailand we have a fruit called a Durian. It's about as big as a water melon. Inside it has a yellow flesh rather like thick custard. The smell, however, is more like a pair of trainers that have been used too often.

A writer in our local newspaper likened it to eating custard whilst sat on a toilet. It really is a revolting smell.
