Because he is a man so I wonder if he would appreciate it. I'm doing it just because, to show appreciation, but I don't know if it will make it feel awkward for him or not. He's a guy and I don't if a letter and flowers will be too mushy for him.

No, it won't be weird. I have given my father flowers once and he loved it! It's a nice gesture and it's also something that he probably has never received from you. So, it would be like a surprise for him, and that's good!

I personally don't think giving your Father , that has done so much for you, Flowers and a nice note is to personal. I think he would very much appreciate it from you since you are his child.Tell him in your note that you did feel a bit worried about giving him Flowers but, you knew that if anyone deserves something so nice and something that will bring happiness to him, then this is what you picked out for him. Tell him that you wanted to give him something that shows life and these Flowers are alive and great like he is. Hope you go for it! All Dad's deserve Flowers!

If you would feel weird giving your father flowers, then it's probably inappropriate. If you would feel comfortable with it, then go for it. The appropriateness would be determined by the relationship you have with your father. No one can really answer this one but you....

Yeah i'm not sure about the flowers but give him a nice card and maybe something that more suits him. Treat him to dinner at a resteraunt...just you and him.

Flowers are the perfect gift for man or woman. Your father will have tears in his eyes when you give them to him. How sweet.

I don't think it's weird, I think it's sweet. But you should always give a gift that the person who is receiving will like, rather than base it on what you'd want to receive. But since he's your dad, he'll probably just be happy that you care enough to think of him. You sound like a very considerate daughter.

Sometimes a flowering plant is nice for dads, because then they go plant it in the yard after a week or so.

nope, as long as it comes from the heart, I am sure any father would appreciate what you give him. look up on the web what the colors mean and get them in that color, if you tell him that it would be great.
blessed be
