That's what divorce courts are for. If you hasve a good attorney, he can get you the best deal possible. You may not get much for the extreme mental and emotional stress, but you may get a bigger piece of the pie when you get your divorce.

No offense yet your ex isn't to vivid to not point out loads of a guy. If the charges are in his call he's to blame for them. If there are costs that have the two your names on them then you definately would be partly to blame for them. As for the joint acct, if the acct is with a economic corporation close to then you definately bypass close it and open one on your call in basic terms. there is not a single factor he can do approximately that. Having a observe that has been notarized does not recommend something, he grew to become into in basic terms taking benefit of the incontrovertible fact so which you could purchase into it. i could say you have the top hand here. He left you for yet another woman, moved to a different state, and is jobless, which will maximum easily bypass over like a lead balloon with the courts. As for the homestead, did you definitely chop up the proceeds with him? If he positioned his proportion in the joint acct then it is his loss. Do your self a prefer and write down any and all question which you will think of of till now you bypass to an lawyer, that way you will not forget something and you will come faraway from it feeling extra useful pronounced. additionally, do not wait around on your ex to report for divorce, if thats the case you ought to be waiting for an extremely long term. sturdy good fortune to you

No fault means you can get a divorce without stating any blame to anyone. It doesn't mean no other types of divorces are possible.

If you want to sue ex you need to do it in civil court. Divorce court for Divorce and civil court for suing. You will need to get a second lawyer.

Be careful. I like the double sided sword image. He may be abusive but if you become the victim, if kids are involved, this could bit you bigtime. He could approach that you are less than stable and get less time with the kids!
If not kids are involved, it will depend on if there has been financial implications as a result of his abuse. this may hold water in court but it will take some savy legal to get any benefit out of it.
