I found this on a website. The girl who writes this blog uses fake lashes everyday.

Q: Hey Phyllis, is there a special way to take care of your falsies in order to maximize their life-span (3 to 4 uses?)

A: Of course there is a way you can take care of your falsies to make them last longer! I normally use the same pair of falsies for at least 2 weeks. The key is to keep them in shape and treat them with ultra care. Here are some tips:

* Try not to wash them and if you do, do so with a gentle cleanser (I usually just use a cleansing oil to remove the mascara) and don't ever soak them in water.

* Never blow dry them - just lay them on a paper towel and let them air dry. Once they are completely dry, gently reshape them. Use a spoolie to comb through them before putting them back into the box.

and I think you can put mascara on your own lashes to help them blend in with your fakes, but don't put mascara on your fakes (they're already thick and dark enough)

You might want to apply mascara only to the bottom side of your top lashes to help then blend in with the fake ones.
As for cleaning:
1) Soak the false lashes in baby oil for a few minutes.
2) Gently remove any glue residue.
3) Then using an eyelash comb or clean mascara wand brush the lashes to separate then and remove any mascara.
4) Dip eyelashes in alcohol to remove oil and disinfect.
6) Comb them again to separate the lashes.
7) Using a piece of tissue paper wrap the lashes around a pencil , this will keep them curled.

Next time you use them they will be good or maybe better than new.

It's better for you to apply a layer mascara first so the real lash will curl up...and after wearing the fake lash you need to apply another layer of mascara so the real and fake lash actually stays together as the day pass you wont have your real lash facing downwards and the fake lash staying up...as for cleaning lashes...i use eye make up remover...=)

Oh yeah, use baby oil or an eye make up remover. If you use it on your lashes it will be okay for those too.
