You have a good variety there. The thing I'm most excited about right now is "Meg and Dia" whose debut CD is about to be released. Judging by your taste I think you'd like them. I saw them live and was blown away by how good they were. Afterward I met them and got autographs and chatted a bit. They are incredibly nice.

Just to name a few.... Songs make me mad when an artist has no lyrical talent or rythym. Gorillaz are sketchy as well as some T.I. but lil wayne and Busta dropped good albums this year

Dani California and RHCP all the way! LOVe that band. Snow Patrol and Shinedown are also very good. And you don't have them on your list but the Arcitc Monkeys are really good too, check them out if you haven't already.
