i think the world has a messed up view on knowledge, they think education is everything....for me, imagination is way more important, but its different for every person. i know that i'll never have a job that requires much knowledge like from a university, but the world still needs doctors and lawyers

Imagination is a destination while the knowledge is a channel or a way to reach there. To achieve a task both are importent. For Example Many peopeles like Wright brothers, has imagined for flew in the sky. But the Wright brothers, using there brain/knowledge had achieved the task first and succeed in making a plane.

Absolutely, if no one had any imagination the world would not progress. It's because of imagination that new ideas are born. But knowledge to put your imaginative ideas to practical use is a must. I say imagination.

The two are both very important, but i would say it's a 60/40 proportion in favor of knowledge, because if you don't have the knowledge, you can't put your creativity to good use.

Imagination is important but you need knowledge to make your imagination a real thing. You can have wonderful ideas how to design something, but you need you knowledge to know if they are possible in real life.

i disagree with the dude before me...i reckon it should be 60/40 for creativity because without the creativity, you'll have nothing to do with the knowledge- no way to make new things or anything... but that is such a cool question to think about now...
