How can the world be a peaceful place to live in?

When peaceful people entirely inhabit the Earth.It has never been so.Since stone age times thru the time of the Bible and other historical chronicles,till now.Man has always been a predator,and with intelligent preditors comes WAR. War happens when one man or group wants what others have.Land,oil,women,money,power.etc.It is the curse of our history,and genetics.How many peaceful Folks Do U really know.We are outnumbered!Bigtime!

Unfortunately, because of human nature, there is never total peace. It's just that the countries with a relatively stable government see more peace than ones where different rivals and factions are constantly killing each other for the right to rule and impose their force upon the common people.

Until those people realize that all the fighting they're doing is pointless, there will continue to be bloodshed in parts of the world (not to mention crime).

I bet you though, if real aliens came to visit us, people would fall in line very quickly (particularly if those aliens are hostile). But with the way we treat each other (as a whole), I don't think many people would accept the fact that aliens have landed here (not to mention many would be fearful of them, if they have technology to be able to visit us first, which means they're more advanced than we are).

There will have to be several more wars before the world is peaceful. throughout Africa dictators hold power and their people are miserable. in eastern europe there is slavery. in southeast asia there is slavery, genocide, and dictators. in china there are over a billion people with no freedom. in N korea there are people with no freedom. in the US there are hate groups of every kind and a feudal system of lords and serfs. in the middle east there are theocracies built on a religion of hate. in western europe the EU pushes closer to enslaving the general populace every day. in central and south america drug lords and corrupt governments keep the people poor. In india there is an AIDS problem. all over the world, the UN supplies food and medical supplies to dictators while taking guns away from ordinary people so they can't defend themselves. before there is world peace there will have to be a great crusade to kill all those who make ordinary people poor and miserable.

Eliminate Interest Groups and the associated funding who lobby Government officials, make commited war crimes the death penalty, and eliminate the veto power of the UN.

Countries have to say "No more wars." They all have to do it though, not just talk about it. Unfortunate that the terrorists don't just kill themselves. Another way would be to rid the world of religion; that seems to be the one link most wars have in common. (Religion is separate from believing in a Higher Power, BTW!)

If terrorists would stop strapping explosives to themselves and killing women and children, I don't see any other hostilities ahead. But their hatred of Jews prevents them from backing off and trying to work out a peacefull solution.
