btw: Many of the people who think their salaries have gone up under Bush, just aren't intelligent enough to factor in inflation, and what their salary would be if we weren't in the weakest job recovery in American history. i.e. There are people who eat a crap sandwich and tell you it's great, just because they don't know there is something better out there.

World has become like a village. In India and China salaries have increased many fold.Even many other emerging markets.America is technology driven economy. This technology percolates to other economies of the world at very fast pace.Hence work goes to other country from USA.Hence downtrend in salary.

Bush is a liberal on economics. He believes in free trade and a growing federal deficit and high inflation. That's why our economy is so screwed up right now. He's disappointed many Republicans on that one.

That's a typical liberal statement. As far as the poverty rate, why should I have $ taken out of my check to support someone to lazy to get a job? Not including involents who can't make a living for themselves.
