My husband hair started falling out (lots of it). We've been really stressed lately due to moving, job changes, etc. Can this be why? Are there some vitamins he can take?

Yes! My boyfriend's dad lost all the hair he's lost to date in law school, when he was in his early 20s. It's because stress affects male hormone levels. He needs to take vitamins, get lots of rest. He could see a doctor to get more specific advice (what could be happening with the hormones) if he really doesn't want to lose any more hair. But it's totally normal. My boyfriend's dad supposedly lost hair in gobs; it was really disturbing, but doesn't indicate anything really bad. When the stress eases up, so will the hair loss. There are really good hair/skin/nail vitamins at GNC, but they're usually "for women". However, I think your man could take them anyway. Ask someone at GNC. Those are the best thing, over the counter, or pre-natal vitamins, which I think guys can take. They give vitamins that affect hair growth; just check with the sales person/doctor.
