Selling a car is just foolish.. I don't think everyone can just go out a buy a new car cause of the smell of vomit.
$hit happens..everyone get's sick.
Just a second too late from pulling over, or getting a bag.
Get a scrubbing brush, a bucket, and I'd go with a high smelling soap, something that's really potent.
Detergent is hard to get out of a chair, and it's not all that strong of a smell.
Roll down the windows, and let it dry, I'd recommend washing it for a second time also, as a repeat.
Febreze is really good, and a small bottle is less than $10..Glade has alot of products, and also have leave in powder's, I'd probably spinkle some of that on, let it set, and vaccum it up, and then spray Febreze..smell should be gone then.
It'll be potent at first, but hey, it's better than the smell of vomit, and eventually the scents will fade off too.
Keep some bag's handy without holes in them, along with tissue, paper towels mainly.
Laying a blanket down onto the back seat is a big help too.. if there was another accident, you could remove the blanket before it has a chance to set into the seat, flick the blanket into a plastic bag, and your all set until you get home to flick the blanket into the washer without having another mess.. hope that helps!

It depends on if you got sick on the seats or the carpet. If it's the seat then try mixing a 1/4 cup of Tide laundry detergent in a gallon of water and spray it on the seat , scrub with a small brush and use a towel to soak it out. then spray the seat with Febreeze fabric freshener. If it's the carpet use Lestoil cleaner as directed on the bottle and then use the Frebreeze. Good luck. I do this after the kids get car sick.

Get your car detailed (cleaned thoroughly inside and out).
I had baby barf in my car for like a month (my little brother had a little too much jello...) After getting it detailed at this local place, my car smells fresh and clean.
Make sure you mention that there's a smell your trying to rid. And don't leave any valuables in there! (like money... rings... shades... nothing is safe man. Best if you can find a place a friend recommends.)

Good LUCK.
The best thing I've figured out so far is, steam-cleaning sort of works, and dish soap and water works well on the leather part of our interior. It helps to take the rugs out if you can, and blast them at the coin-op car wash, too.
My husband asked around at work, and apparently we've had better luck than anybody else, including his boss whose kid used to get sick in the car all the time when he was on chemo. They tried everything including detailing and a professional steam-clean, and what finally worked for them was selling the car.

Everybody else has great suggestions, but if they still leave an odor. Try Ozium, Its specifically designed to remove odors. Professionals use it and it even works on skunk smell. You would find it at an auto supply store. Good luck.

It depends on the sick and how long you let it sit. Wash down the seats with soap and water and the carpet I would shampoo if possible. Rinse with a vinegar and water solution. Let it air out if possible. The I would spray it with Frab**z freshener and let it air out some more.
