say that attack statistics don't convey the dog's side of the story.

This is what happened to Sparky, a Dalmatian that bit a visiting 4-year-old boy. The boy had spent the day chasing the dog, climbing on him, and grabbing food from his bowl. Later, when Sparky was asleep, the boy approached him. The boy's mother heard Sparky growl just before her son was bitten on the face. The distraught owner called Around, wondering if she should euthanize her pet. Dr. Bergman instructed the owner to approach her dog, who was cowering behind the toilet. On Sparky's face were several small, crescent-shaped red marks. The boy had dug his fingernails in Sparky's face hard enough to draw blood. "It was a provoked bite. Why are people so trigger happy?

I have heard Dalmations can be mean, as can any dog but I have heard this more than once. I have also heard way more than once how some bratty little kid harrassed an animal until it got bitten. Dogs can't hit people so they bite. This poor dog was driven to the point of biting and then knew it was wrong so he hid in fear. If I was the owner and knew my dogs temperament I would either not let it around kids or trust that it would not bite unless provoked. If something happened I would not immediately assume the dog was insane and needed to die.

I once had a black Chow Chow who liked to sleep on the floor of my truck. As you know this kind of dog is very protective and I kept him away from children, but one day as I was at choir practice he came running into the church and I went outside and here was this boychild sitting on the ground right by my truck who said my dog jumped out of the truck and bit him. Yeah, he did, but the kid had opened the door with the intent to steal the truck, proven by where he was bitten. I showed the child the shot record of the dog and assured him he wouldn't have any problem. Then I took the boy to his house, or attempted to. The boy would not let me drop him off at his house. So the church gets a notice from a lawyer who says their libal for the dog bite. I told the paster what happened, put it on paper along with a copy of my dogs shot record and the Insurance company refused to pay them. So then they came after me, and I told them what happened which they refused to believe. I said sue me then, but I would have the insurance companies statement in hand at the court hearing and they dropped the issue. So its greed that makes people willing to blame the dog rather than the dog owners, and if you could avoid paying thousands of dollars for the benefit of owning a dangerous animal, wouldn't you be willing to kill it instead?

My dogs bit a baby as quickly as, relatively, she grow to be yawning whilst the youngster leaned in for a "kiss" , whilst she closed her mouth she found out the youngster's face grow to be in there, minimum harm, luckily. the mum grow to be real there with us whilst it exceeded off, she felt undesirable, I felt undesirable and the youngster grow to be freaked out. yet, once I asked approximately reporting it, she mentioned no, she found out encouraging her baby to kiss unusual canines grow to be very risky & dumb. i've got self assurance their are many circumstances that demands those assaults, incidents, that warrant the rights for an animal. yet rules say in any different case. regrettably, no longer all situations warrant our sympathy the two. some human beings have some down real unfriendly canines, i've got been attacked via such, so no longer all puppy assaults are provoked. i've got self assurance there needs to be greater effectual rules to guard canines as nicely as human beings. And greater mothers and fathers who're greater effectual at coaching infants the techniques of interacting with pets of human beings.
